Like financial oversight, owner's representation is background work: the superintendent gets the headline and the program gets delivered. So this page leans on things you can verify — awards with our name on them, public records, and coverage of the work.

Led the statewide cooperative that pools school districts’ energy purchasing. Archived board rosters place John on the MISEC board from at least 2006 and as president by 2013, while Director of Operations at Rochester Community Schools; he continued on the board as a consultant into the SAG era, when he gave clients the opportunity to purchase energy supplies from outside vendors.
John’s own bylined column as the district’s facility engineer during the Stoney Creek build: radon prevention designed into the new high school, and the 1997 bond’s ventilation standard of 20 cubic feet of fresh air per minute per person at all three high schools. Both came directly from John’s work on the district’s environmental policy, which the board adopted unanimously and which other districts went on to follow.
Trenton Public Schools landed an $81,750 state safety grant, the largest award Downriver, with John credited as part of the district's team during the bond program. (archived copy)

Before joining the firm, Eric led national business partnerships at Shipt, Target's same-day delivery company. The programs he built spanned a county government, Fortune 500 employers, national card networks, and 30,000-unit housing portfolios. That is the program-controls discipline he now applies to school construction dollars.
Eric built a first-in-the-nation partnership between Shipt and Macomb County to give seniors free grocery delivery during COVID. Quoted in both pieces: “We’re proud to partner with Macomb County to make it easy for seniors to skip the store and get groceries brought right to their door.” (Metromode)
National trade coverage of the employer-benefit program Eric led, quoting him on the launch: “This new benefits offering is the equivalent of giving employees an extra two weeks’ worth of time back per year.”
Eric led the partnership that made Shipt membership a built-in benefit on every U.S. Visa consumer credit card, reaching hundreds of millions of cardholders. (Visa's announcement)
The multifamily amenity program Eric built, launching across 30,000 apartment units in seven states, with national managers including Pinnacle joining later that year. (GlobeNewswire)
